| What kind of a work schedule can I look forward to? |
| Your usual workday with start early in the morning at 6:30 or 7:00 am. The normal working day will be a hectic affair involving student counselling, general career guidance, tackling problem cases, registering students, keeping the system well-oiled and functional, conducting classes etc. If you are a "work hard, play hard" type, this is your kind of business! However, if you have a lot of family obligations, and would rather prefer a relaxed working schedule, please do not apply at all for our franchise. |

| How much freedom do I have as a PT Franchisee? |
| If we offers a second centre in a location where one or more PT Centre(s) is / are already operational then the Franchisee of the new centre shall pay an amount equivalent to the Security Deposit for that location as a Developed Market Premium to the PT-HQ. A maximum of upto 50% of this amount will be utilized for the advertising and marketing activity for all the centers in that region at PT-HQ's discretion. |

| What is this TDPro engine? And what are these ''systems''? |
| The "TDPro engine" concept is uniquely developed by PT for the benefit of all stakeholders like students, franchisees and employees. It stands for "Technology Driven Process Engine." This means that all core processes in PT are documented, standardised, rigorously implemented and audited. This benefits everyone as processes lead to predictable results. Be it classroom delivery of courses, finance management, marketing approach, administrative issues or HR management. This TDPro engine is our core, our main driver, our passion and our biggest secret of success. It is neatly captured in our rigorous OPERATIONS MANUALS(OPMAN) which cover the whole range of activities we perform. Thus, we insist on a systematic approach to quality creation that leads to students success. |

| How will I ever learn about all these Systems ? |
| We will train you and provide you with ample printed reference material and the biggest strength of our training system - Operations Manual and DVDs about each and every facet of the business. |

| What is the need for such elaborate systems ? |
| Without these systems, your business will fall apart like a pack of cards! Take our word for it. In this mercilessly competitive world, unless you are having well-designed systems that can run by themselves with just your supervision, there is no way you can succeed. And because of this TDPro engine approach, many of our centres have grown from 10 or 20 students in the first year, to several thousand students per year, now. |

| Will the PT-HQ exercise control over my operations ? |
| Yes. As far as fulfilling the requirements of our systems are concerned, we will be demanding! However, at a personal level, we remain a family and as stated earlier, a "community of equals." There are regular centre audits performed by PT HQ to ensure that adequate guidance can be provided to PT centres from time to time to ensure standardization and uniformity of standards across all centres. |

| Is this business socially respectable ? |
| The kind of social esteem you get and the amount of monetary gains you can expect are proof enough for the built credibility and success factor. Once you start your business, within a couple of years, you will be surprised to see the kind of recommendations you will get to admit students in your institute! Believe us, there is a lot of prestige associated with this. As we say fondly, there is no other business where young people (students) will come and touch your feet (teacher's) for the value-addition they receive ! |

| What if I have never taught students before? |
| If you have been teaching students regularly, you have a distinct edge over others. However, if you are having Zero experience in teaching, we recommend you analyse yourself as a "leader" and an "orator." If you feel that you are a good orator and can convince people fast, GO FOR IT. We will provide you an exhaustive training that will ensure complete orientation towards "teaching and motivating others." However, if you just cannot face a crowd or have an irreparable stage-fear syndrome, then you cannot be a successful PT franchisee. |

| What is the upper limit of the money I can make ? |
| Almost Limitless. Yes. As the business grows, we will keep adding newer courses and modules to give you the maximum returns on your investment. However, please understand clearly that the amount of effort required would also go up proportionately with the addition of more courses. As the success of many of the PT Franchisees (since 1998 onwards) indicates, the kind of returns you can expect as a dedicated PT Franchisee will exceed what you can possibly make over several years in other professions. |

| In my area, will PT open other centres ? |
| In a small city and a non-metro area, generally speaking, NO. However, in larger cities and metros, we may go for more than one franchisee as and when deemed fit. However, it must always be remembered that the final decision regarding this rests with the PT-HQ and that such a decision would take into account all possible factors. |

| What is the Advertising expenditure ? |
| The local level advertising expenditure is borne entirely by the PT Franchisee. The PT-HQ does not participate in that. However, we will provide you with standard artworks, collaterals of all kinds, poster designs etc. We will also advise you about all the aspects of local level advertising. We will indeed expect our Franchisee to spend enough to attract enough. Further specific details will be provided when you are selected by us as our franchisee. National Level advertising is done under the National Brand Building Fund (NBF) for which all centres contribute a fixed percentage. Also note that our website is a great hit with our students all over India, and drives business to all our centres. |

| What is the fee collection system and how will the accounts be maintained ? |
| There is a specific system for that. We will inform and train you for that, if you are finally selected. |

| If I am not able to do a good job, what will happen? |
| The market will take care of that. Your business will go down, and you will not be able to sustain it. However, that is almost impossible as we will select only the deserving people and train them adequately. |

| Does PT have any Postal course also ? |
| Yes. We have a full-fledged postal course also which is an independent venture. Your business will in no way be adversely affected by that. |

| What is the brand equity of PT in the market ? |
| We have trained more than 3,00,000 students in the past 18 years across India, at more than 80 locations. That speaks volumes about what our reach is. We have produced CAT Toppers, our students have reached the best Ivy League colleges abroad, countless numbers have be benefited from our language and PDP programs.. the list continues. |

| Will anyone from PT-HQ visit me at my office ? |
| Yes. Specific visits will be arranged by us for our representative. The first such visit is conducted by the Site Survey Incharge who will survey the proposed location of the PT Centre and prepare the first report. This will be followed by subsequent visits and interactions (by you to the PT HQ and vice versa) till the final legal agreement is signed. Once you are functional, PT HQ authorities and auditors will regularly visit your centre to ensure total adherence to system norms. |

| Can I take up this proposal as a part-time business ? |
| SORRY! This is not acceptable to us. We only want those who can trust us and give their best to this business. Half-hearted efforts will be useless. Hence we would like to make a sincere request : Only those willing to take the plunge, need apply. |

| What will be the nature of the organization ? |
| You can take up this venture as a proprietorship concern. You will file your separate income tax return. Also, you make take this up in the name of a corporation, company, firm, or a partnership firm. What ultimately will matter to us is the dedication of the key person behind the project, who necessarily has to be a full-timer. |

| Is there any scheme for refunding of the TKF or the Royalty at any stage ? |
| NO. There is no provision for refunds of any nature whatsoever. |

| Earliest possible, when can I start my classes ? |
| Once all legal formalities of signing the documents are over, you can expect to start after your training is over and centre is created. |

| Under what banner will I be running my classes ? |
| If you start your institute (cum classes) at say, Guwahati, it will be called PT Education Guwahati Centre. For New Vistas program, it will be called New Vistas Guwahati Centre (a venture of PT Education) |

| How exactly do I go about starting the centre ? |

| What are the fixed costs like ? |
| Initially you pay the Security Deposit, Licensing Fees and Technical Know-how Fees. Then a few items like Library Bookset, Glowsign Board, Starter kit etc. will be required. A detailed list of possible heads of the fixed costs will be given to you before you sign the legal agreement (so you can work out your economics). |

| What are the running costs like ? |
| The running costs include cost of study material, promotional material like posters and pamphlets, cloth banners, transportation costs and some other miscellaneous costs. | What if I am not computer literate ? |
| We would suggest you take a crash course in basic computer skills like Operating Systems, MS Word, Internet and Email etc. It is not possible to run a PT centre without that. |

| I have never handled customers at the front office. How do I handle students? |
| As we said earlier, the intensive start-up training to be provided will ensure that you get a detailed practical exposure to handling students in the most effective manner. |

| Will I definitely succeed ? |
| No guarantees please! We will give you the best systems, the best study material, the best teaching methodologies and the best support systems. To implement them is entirely upto you. If you ask our honest opinion, we see you becoming successful very FAST provided you understand and mould yourself into the PT philosophy. |
