| It is a 3-hour & 45-minutes, test that measures Writing, Critical Reading and Mathematical reasoning abilities. Writing section includes multiple-choice questions on sentence correction and a student written essay. Critical Reading section includes short & long reading passages and sentence completion questions. Mathematics section tests the ability to solve problems involving arithmetic, algebra and geometry.
New SAT® is conducted six times in a year in the months of January, May, June, October, November & December. The New SAT® does not measure motivation, creativity or special talents. Thus, it provides a basic standard to compare the skills of students. New SAT® scores are generally used along with the academic performance of a student in the school.
